Catholic Daily respects your privacy. This policy covers the app and catholicdaily.app. Preferences stay on your device; we use anonymous analytics to improve the product. We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps.
Data We Collect
On your device: topics, theme, language, and favorites are stored locally—we do not host a personal profile on our servers. Subscriptions: Apple and RevenueCat process purchases and premium access; we do not store subscription records ourselves. Analytics: the app uses Firebase Analytics and the website uses Google Analytics for anonymous usage (e.g. screens viewed, App Store taps). This is not linked to your name or email. We do not use in-app or on-site advertising.
How We Use Data
Preferences power widgets and in-app content on your device. Anonymous analytics help us improve features and the website. Subscription data is used only to manage premium access. We do not sell data or share it for third-party marketing.
Third-Party Services
Apple (App Store), RevenueCat (subscriptions), Google Firebase Analytics (app), and Google Analytics (website). Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. Theme images may load from our CDN when online; Gospel readings and saint quotes work offline in the app.
Your Rights
Delete the app to remove local preferences. Google processes analytics under its policies; uninstalling stops new app analytics from your device. For Apple subscription data, use Apple's privacy settings. If you have questions, contact us.
