Catholic Daily: Bible & Saints on Home and Lock Screen

Catholic Daily requires iOS 17 or later. Long press on your home screen, tap the + button, search for Catholic Daily, and add the widget size you prefer.

Open Catholic Daily, go to Settings, tap Jesus Symbol or Cross Symbol, then choose a design. The Lock Screen widget may take a few seconds to update.

The app supports English, Spanish, and Portuguese. You can change the language in Settings.

Catholic Daily offers free and premium features. Patron unlocks all topics, premium themes, and custom themes. You can use daily verse reminders, Advanced reminders (up to 10 daily times), and Flexible time (up to 20 reminders per day), plus Catholic fasting and solemnity reminders. Content follows the liturgical calendar. In the app you can set how often widgets refresh (for example once or twice a day, every 6 hours, or every 2 hours) and browse previous readings anytime.

Yes. Choose widget sizes, themes (built-in and online when you are connected), custom themes with Patron, and Lock Screen Jesus and Cross symbol collections. Pick from many alternate app icons in Settings. Show Gospel, saint quotes, or both. Medium and Large Home Screen widgets let you move between quotes, share, and favorite without opening the app.

Yes! Catholic Daily works fully offline. Daily content is cached on your device, so you can access Gospel readings and saint quotes anytime without an internet connection.

Schedule up to 10 Sacred moments on iOS 26+ (up to 5 on earlier iOS) for a short Today's prayer, then tap I prayed. Optionally turn on Prayer Focus to pause distracting apps until you finish praying, with an optional unlock linger (15 seconds to 3 minutes). Free includes Sacred moments and Prayer Focus; Patron unlocks more than one Sacred moment time. See the App Store for current limits.
